About The Event
FEE. $20, the fee covers the cost of dinner for two and workshop materials.
CHILDCARE. Please register for space is limited. The children will be served dinner. Nursing mothers are welcome to have their baby with them during the workshop.
SUMMARY OF THE WORKSHOP.
The first session on January 24 lays the groundwork for the two sessions, looking into the Christian foundation of why Catholic Marriages exist and what the Church teaches. This combats the wrong idea couples may have of what marriage is supposed to be.
The second session on January 31 looks into why conflict in marriage arises, how to manage conflict, and how to resolve it. What do you do after you lost it (tempers flaring, fights occurring)? How to repair the damage after a regrettable incident.
Closing out the second session will be a focus on the 3 Components of a Happy Marriage; how to grow in Friendship, Affection and Appreciation.
